Jennifer Greenhut was discovered less than one year ago by singer/songwriter John Pieplow. Together, they have written numerous songs and have appeared in premier Los Angeles music venues such as The Viper Room, The House of Blues, Dragon Fly, Barfly, Lava Lounge, Club Lingerie, Britannia, The Foxx Club, Mc Reds, Level One, The Plush Room, Universal Bar and Grill, Platinum Live USA, and BB Kings, and The Gig. Now, Jennifer has her own band, Green Hut, and is fortunate to continue to play, record and write. As actress before singing and songwriting, Jenn is comfortable as a performer, and her musical style is adult/alternative with lyrics that express and illustrate highly personal experiences.

Originally from NYC, Jennifer was a world-class gymnast before switching to acting, and then finding her calling in singing and songwriting. A definite newcomer, she has the ability as one very experienced to guide us into life a little deeper through her story-telling lyrics about love, death, truth, and forgiveness, as well as through her creative rhyming. “You basically just want to listen,” says her father, who is one of her biggest fans. “Yes,” Jenn responds sarcastically, “I know I have to develop a bigger fan club! I’m working on it!”

Recently, Jennifer was called back into acting as she played the lead role in a movie called “The Gymnast.” In addition, she and her band were asked to score the movie, and one of her songs, Sneak Attack, was the theme. The film is getting great reviews and already accepted into various film festivals.

A published poet as well, Jennifer is fulfilling a lifelong dream as a performer and songwriter. Her goals in music are to continue communicating and sharing her experiences, and ultimately, help make the world a little better while she is able to walk in it! Always a NYC girl, Jennifer resides in Los Feliz and continues to perform live all over Los Angeles.
